DD-Frame Introduction
The DD-Frame series offers a wide range of configurations, allowing for customization of functionality and appearance to meet specific requirements. This robust and versatile circuit breaker is available in AC and DC configurations, with various time delay characteristics and 1 to 6-pole options.
Common configurations include front-mounted standard handle and rotary handle options. Terminal options include metric and imperial stud terminals, insert (bullet) terminals, screw terminals, and clamp terminals. The DD-Frame circuit breaker can be optionally equipped with auxiliary switches and trip alarms. Furthermore, customer-specific configurations, DIN rail mounting, and various other functional options are available.
The DD-Frame circuit breaker offers a compact design and precise protection. The housing is made of high-quality thermoset material, providing excellent electrical and mechanical strength. The self-cleaning mechanism of the contact actuator ensures clean and smooth operation of the circuit breaker contacts, resulting in a longer service life.

The DD-Frame series is a compact yet powerful circuit breaker. Utilizing hydraulic-magnetic technology, it ensures circuit breaker performance is unaffected by ambient temperature. The CBI DD-Frame series is suitable for a variety of applications in telecommunications and data communication equipment. These applications include use as main circuit breakers in battery applications, power supplies, DC branch protection, lighting control UPS, inverters and DC power switching, and as distribution circuit breakers for larger loads in power distribution units (PDUs), as well as switches.
Due to its robustness and ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the DD-Frame circuit breaker is also used in military applications, railway infrastructure, railway signaling and rolling stock, and in renewable energy solutions for junction boxes and other battery and storage applications.
