DD-Frame Introduction
The Remote Actuator Unit (RAU) is a factory-preset module that enables automatic switching of the DD-Frame circuit breaker. The RAU internally drives the circuit breaker ON and OFF. The RAU is mounted on the left side of the circuit breaker and can drive up to three-pole circuit breakers. The RAU is only suitable for circuit breakers with standard operating handles. The RAU is equipped with LEDs to display the operating mode (PULSE or CONSTANT). Color indicators show the position of the connected circuit breaker latching mechanism - green for OFF, red for ON. The RAU provides options for setting the drive signal voltage between pulse or constant modes - selectable via a switch on the front of the RAU.
