DD-Frame Introduction
The Remote Actuator Unit (RAU) is a factory-preset module that enables automatic switching of the DD-Frame circuit breaker. The RAU internally drives the circuit breaker ON and OFF. The RAU is mounted on the left side of the circuit breaker and can drive up to three-pole circuit breakers. The RAU is only available for circuit breakers with standard operating handles. The unit has an LED that provides indication of the operating mode (remote or manual) and status. It is also equipped with a color indicator light that shows the position of the interlock mechanism of the connected circuit breaker - green for OFF, red for ON. The RAU provides the option to set the operating mode between remote or manual, selectable via a switch on the front of the RAU.
